Once again, 2 important problems were resolved. There are also improvements in the monitoring function. In order to make automatic creation more flexible and to keep any necessary reworking to a minimum, the most important settings and values can now be pre-configured here.

jDownloads 3.9 Series - Stable Release Published!
We are very proud to present the stable jDownloads 3.9 for Joomla 3.9.
Our aim for this new version was to support the recently added functions of the current Joomla Version 3.9.1 as far as possible and to integrate them into jDownloads. But it was also necessary to remove or change some old parts. This means that version 3.9.1 is not backwards compatible with version 3.2.x. There is more detailed information in the documentation for jDownloads 3.9.
If you are upgrading from an existing 3.2 installation to the new version 3.9 please see the upgrading guide. It is an easy, multistep upgrade, not complicated a migration!

The 3.2.69 version will be a prerequisite for upgrading to the jDownloads 3.9 series.

You can find details of this release in the download 'details' page. The changelog is here. Also please note that this is still a beta release and there is a risk that it still contains bugs. So please test it on a development or staging site, not on your live site.

By selecting monthly in the Advanced setup, your own Joomla! test site will ask every month if you wish to keep using the site. So when you are done testing you just do not 'renew' and it will automatically disappear! Obviously you can load any Joomla! extension into your test site.
