This Category has "Add-ons" for the jDownloads 3.9 Series that allow jDownloads to integrate with other Extensions (e.g. for SEF/SEO, AlphaUserPoints and other Components).  If you need extensions for the the jDownloads 3.2 & 2.5 series then look in Special Extensions (jD3.2 & 2.5) sub category.  For even older jDownloads series the look in the 'Archive' category.

JComments is an extensive comment extension for Joomla. To use it with the jDownloads series 3.9 you must download this file. Afterwards copy the unzipped file, com_jdownloads.plugin.php,  to: components/com_jcomments/plugins.

Make sure that the option "Activate support for all Joomla content plugins?" is activated in the jDownloads configuration Frontend tab

This special Community Builder plugin allowing showing those Downloads that the user has created in from the component jDownloads. Originally created for Joomla articles by Krileon - Modified version for jDownloads 3.9 series. For installation you must use the plugin manager from Community Builder, it is not possible to install it via Joomla installer.

This is for jD3.9 and Komento 3.1.3    It is not compatible with Komento 3.1.2
Please copy the unzipped file com_jdownloads.php to the Komento components subfolder '/komento_plugins' in your Joomla installation.  Please also see the jDownloads Documentation.
Make sure that the option "Activate support for all Joomla content plugins?" is activated in the jDownloads configuration Frontend tab
Comments are only possible on the Download Details view
Check the settings in Komento
Do not use both Komento and JComments at the same time!!!
