The Komento Plugin allows you to use the comment component Komento with the jDownloads series 3.2.x. This version of the plugin does not support older Joomla or jDownloads versions.
Notes:
Make sure that the option "Activate support for all Joomla content plugins?" is activated in the jDownloads configuration Frontend tab!
Usage:
Please copy the unzipped file to the Komento component subfolder '/komento_plugins' in your Joomla installation. Then check the settings in Komento.
Comments are only possible in the Downloads details page.
jDownloads 1.9.1.6 Stable for Joomla 2.5. This is the last release of the jD 1.9.1.x series. There is documentation on migrating from jD 1.9.1.6 to the last jD 2.5 series release.
2014-10-14 Important information: You should only use this older version when you have no other choice. All other users should install the new version 3.2 from here.
For installing the new release, use the Joomla Installer. It is not necessary to uninstall first the old version. If you migrate your jDownloads data from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5, your find in the FAQ a short how-to.

jDownloads 1.8.4 stable (Build 861) for Joomla 1.5. This version is a security fix! So it is important to update your installed version to this final jD 1.8 series release. To install this release, use the Joomla Installer. It is not necessary to uninstall the old version first.
Important: Please note that this is the last version of jDownloads for Joomla 1.5 and the official support for this version is ended now!
The latest version of the CSS file jdownloads_fe.css is contained in a zip file which may be downloaded here to your device. 'Unzip' and use the CSS import to update.

This Download contain all eight of the scrolling layout xml files in a zip file. When extracted the xml files are in a folder called 'Scrolling Layouts'.
They have to be imported one at a time from using the Layouts control page. Click on thumbnail image opposite

This Upgrade Set brings the Standard layouts below up to the latest level as explained in article

It is useful for those users who had their first installation or migration prior to jD 3.2.46. they layouts rely on having the CSS code at jD 3.2.46 or higher
- Standard Categories Layout v3.2 ;
- Standard Categories Layout for paginated Subcategories 3.2 ;
- Standard Category Layout v3.2 ;
- Standard Files Layout v3.2
The upgrade has better alignment of various items in the 'title' sections of each of the above layouts.
If you have previously edited one or more of the existing standard v32 layouts noted above then you should make a copy before you upgrade.
The three layouts are contained in a zip file. After downloading the zip file unpack it in a convenient folder and then in the Administration, 'backend', import to jDownloads using the Import button on the tool bar of the main layouts page. If you have edited oner or more of the previous versions then make a copy of the new layouts and apply any edits to the copy and activate.
Note that special attention is required for the Standard Categories Layout for paginated Subcategories 3.2 layout as it is activated in a different way - see http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/import-and-export-of-layouts-and-css-files for more details on how to do this.
You might also like to see more optional layouts in the Layouts Library that contain more compact details or offer scrolling and other varieties.
