mysite.com/Administrator site not working correctly, error log points jDownloads

Hi,
I am using a joomla site with jdownloads and do a lot of front end editing.  As a result I havent been in the back end (mysite.com/Administrator) for a long time, it was working fine last time it was used and there have been NO changes made!
When I go to site admin, I can log in but are only seeing the attached error msg with the menu bar shown.  (some menu items work and some do not). 
below is an error log I got from my host that they suggest may be the issue?  Urgent please!

Several references to "/administrator/components/com_jdownloads/" this may be a plugin or something else causing this issue.

What version of PHP are you using? Has it changed recently?
In Global Config - Server Settings what do you have in Error reporting? It is usually 'System Default'
