Download pdf without preview

Hi,

I created a download area for my clients.
This area is only accessible for those who are loged in.

When a loged in user clicks on "download", the pdf file (pricelist in my case) is first opens in another window and can be downloaded from there.
The URL to this pdf pricelist is visible and can be copie and pasted.
With this URL non unregistered visitors can also vieuw the professional pricelist.

I want to avoid this !  Better, I must avoid this 

So, I would like to have a direct download of the file (pdf), without it opening in a new window first.
click on the download button = download to harddisk

I hope there are some settings for this in JDownloads (under joomla).
Can someone please help me?

In jD config - Downloads tab there is a field 'Which file types are to be opened in the Browser?'. You need to remve the pdf and the relevant separating comma from that list.
