Template not shown correctly when clicking a subcategory

I have a similar issue like

I have some menu items as single category->show single category. These work i.e. show the template layout correctly as well as when clicking in the shown list to detail download site.
When there are sub-categories, they will show on top of the downloads in the main-category. That´s ok so far - but clicking on the sub-cat item shows the template layout someway scrubbed. Screenshots are added to show the problem.

I can see the problem from your pictures but to identify the source properly I need to visit your site.  At this stage I just need to get to the same place as your images.  So could you please send me the site details and how to get to your examples.  Please send by Private Message by clicking on the 'whitish square with a tail' near my name.
