JDownloads is not detecting new files automatically

I love this extension, great job.

Only issue I have I cannot figure out, and it may be a setting that I am missing is,  is not detecting new files automatically.  It will if I log into the Joomla site administration site, and shortly after that it detects them

I am running the latest Joomla, PHP 5.6.  It is a new install of Joomla as well and this is the only extension loaded.

It is running on Windows 2008 webserver.


Like I mentioned, it will auto detect them but not until I log in the back end.

Could you tell me what auto monitor settings you have please (Config - monitoring tab) so I can check.
You might also find this article helpful asit essentially runs the scanning function periodically.
