JDownloads and CDN?

Hi!
I'm going to use CDN on my site.
I have question about Jdownloads files. Is it possible users download files from CDN mirrors?

Basically as far as I understand CDN within the context of Joomla it relies on an appropriate plugin - there are several in the JED.  This plugin intercepts the address and then diverts it to the appropriate server.  So if the literature is to be believed it would be transparent to jD.  I suspect one treats it as if the file is on the actual server rather than the CAN server.

I do not know how the files get to the other servers in the first place.  I intend to experiment!!

So at the moment I hope it works but who knows for real!!!

The main question - is it possible to cache JDownloads files via CDN servers, not only images and any static files.
I mean - zip, exe, dmg, apk, and and other files from JDownloads

At this time we do not know.  One thing however is that how files are placed on the CDN servers is not likely to be in jDownloads UNLESS it is done by the support plugin

As I said I will experiment.
