Hello,

I have a joomla 2.5.28 website, I spent 3 days to upgrade my joomla 2.5.28 to 3.3 but it always ended with the error [1062 - An error has occurred].

I searched the whole internet (as much as I could) and tried many things ( like this) but nothing worked for me.

I finally ended up with jDownloads compnent. To make sure that the error is ONLY and ONLY from jDownloads, I did the following steps:

1- Installed a fresh joomla 2.5.28 (joomla 2.5.28 download link here)
2- Installed a fresh jDownload 1.9.1.6 (This is the version that is running on my website, and is suggested in the "From jD1.9.1.x on Joomla 2.5 to jD3.2 on Joomla 3.2+" article here ) - (jDownloads 1.9.1.6 Download link here)

3- I followed the documentation posted in the "From jD1.9.1.x on Joomla 2.5 to jD3.2 on Joomla 3.2+" article   step by step to upgrade my fresh joomla 2.5.28 to 3.3 but it didn't work with the same [1062 - An error has occurred] error!

I tried many other things else, like disabling jDownloads, Uninstalling jDownloads, Deleting the tables of jDownloads manually, ... . BUT NOTHING WORKED!!!!!

What shall I do????

I've attached the complete error that I'm getting.

Hi smartgig,
when i check your uploaded error file, i can not find any error about a jdownloads db table.
So why mean you that your problem has to do with jDownloads?

Quotebut it didn't work with the same [1062 - An error has occurred] erro
Where (exactly) have you get this error?
Screenshots could be useful.

Because it seems that it has nothing to do with jDownloads. ;)
Maybe more a Joomla problem.

Sure can it be that the import process to the new jD series was not complete correct.
But in the last months have many users doing this without any problems. So i think this is not really your problem (see above).
Best Regards / Gruß
