Backend: Permission Warning [Solved 3.2.18]

Hello,

if I want to create a new download in the Backend, I get this message at the bottom of the site:

COM_JDOWNLOADS_SET_CREATE_PERMISSIONS_WARNING

Everything works fine: I can create Downloads, and download them from the frontend.

Do I have to worry about this message?

Do not think this is anything to worry about.
What debug setting level do you have? Or maybe it is Language debug in Joomla System settings.
Also seeing the  message

indicates there is a missing translation.  Are you using German or English in the backend

Sorry, but where can I find the "debug setting level"? In the Joomla configuration I can find two parameters:
1. System debug => deactivated
2. Language debug => deactivated

Also seeing the  message indicates there is a missing translation.  Are you using German or English in the backend

The German language is included with jDownloads so there may well be a conflict here.  I suggest you look up how to get other languages active without the use of a package like www.jgerman.de   Regret that as I only use English I am not much help here.   Maybe one of the German language users can assist.

Hey... I don't want to give up the J!German language pack!
But if I do not have to worry about the message, I'll ignore it in the future.

I have looked into this a little further.  It appears that COM_JDOWNLOADS_SET_CREATE_PERMISSIONS_WARNING is in the code but is not in the .ini language files.  Will look further into this.
From the code it would appear that you do not have "create Permission" for the required action.  This could be for the download itself or for the category. Will do some tests.

This should be fixed in the meantime.

Yes, I installed the latest version 3.2.17beta... the message still appears.
