Hi,
Quote3. All new uploaded file has no download button and the link on title is to /
4. Check the Download Area is not working
I'm not sure whether your installation actually went smoothly. Unfortunately, you haven't provided any information about what went wrong during the scan or what error messages you received.

I'll try to reproduce your issues on various test installations later. Only then will I be able to give you more details.

But first:
1. Which exact version of 4.1 are you using (date)?
2. Which version of PHP?
3. Was this a fresh installation?

Hi,
I have reviewed, improved and revised the reset function. In earlier versions, this could indeed result in the permissions becoming invalid.

Please test the new version I sent you via PM and let me know the results here.
The aim here is simply to ensure that the system is reset to its default settings (so that anyone can download files).

Hi,
thank you very much for the submitted data. In the meantime, I've managed to identify the cause of the problem. However, fixing this will require more than just a minor bug fix.

Therefore, the fix for the affected tables will be included in the new version 4.1. The release is scheduled for tomorrow at the latest.

Thanks a lot for the posted bug.
Best Regards / Gruß
