News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

When I try to choose the layouts in the back-end, it takes about 1 minute and after I have an internal server error. And when I see the logs on my server, I have this:

[Tue Aug 13 15:20:30 2024] [error] [client 2a01:e0a:87c:d5e0:9dd9:7cde:5393:de28] [host prepasdarsonval.cloud] AH10149: FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/homez.1929/prepasg/www/administrator/index.php", referer: http://prepasdarsonval.cloud/administrator/index.php?option=com_jdownloads&view=layouts

It is a fresh install on Joomla 5. In 15 years, I never had problems with JDownloads on Joomla3...Can you help me?

Hi
Fresh install on Joomla 5
What version of PHP do you have?
Please see article,  which also applies to fresh install

I was with PHP 8.3. I have tried PHP 8.2, same issue.
EDIT: the problem occurs when I try to see the layouts for "Categories" but not when I try to see the layouts of "Category" ! Also, no problem for the layouts of Subcategories but error with the layouts of Downloads...

And it's very long to obtain the result!

I don't understand!

Thierry,
You have a 500 error.  This needs to be sorted out by your hosting service

Yes... I have changed of host provider, and all is ok now. I don't know the origin of the problem, maybe the version of MySql ? My new hosting use MariaDB.

Very sorry to have bothered you! And thank you very much for your intervention.
