Open a Download in a new Browser tab?

I want to open a direct download (no details) in a new page. How to add target="_blank" to <a>, please ?

Hi This is a function of the Editor you use.  Basically it is setting the default for the Link.
Attached are is one image for the JCE editor and three for the TinyMCE editor.

Thank you Colin for your answer. I use JCE and I modified the profile but this does not change the opening of Jdownloads links, nor the component, nor the module

Perhaps these settings could help: See pics.

If you want to create it in an article with the help of the content plugin, you could perhaps also customise or create a layout for it. Finally, it would also be possible to customise the default.php.  But not for a single download, but for all of them.
