reCaptcha once again

After working well for a long time, we suddenly have a serious problem with recaptcha again. After marking the box that I am not a robot, nothing further happens and I don't get the download. I need the recaptcha, because if I don't use it I get attacked by hundreds of robots downloading.

How can I go about finding the cause of the problem, or is there maybe an alternative?

Which jDownloads version? If you are still using jDownloads 3.9.x, you should plan an update to version 4. However, we have not changed anything in the old version 3.9.x.

As you can see on our demo website, the reCaptcha v3 function works with jDownloads version 4.

Thank you for your reply. Moving to Joomla4 is very hard for the specific site due to the large number of plugins and extensions. It will be a while before we can do that.

We use Jdownloads version 3.9

It would be better to go to the more modern version V3 which is supported in jD3.9
