Select Category in Backend

If in Downloads one uses the 'Select Category' in Backend it shows a view such in attached  'First Image.png' where the Downloads category 'New Test' are shown as expected.

If one wishes to look at contents of anothe  category then the natural thing to do is to use the search  selection pulldown again - as shown in 'Second  image.png' where category 'Noddle Downloads' is being selected.

For a few seconds the view is as shown in 'Third  image.png' where both selections are shown.
But instead of showing Downloads in both Categories as in jD3.9 the view reverts to the original selection of just Downloads from 'New Test' - as in 'First image'.

Basically jD4 should behave similarly to jD3.9

I was able to reproduce it here. The second selection is used for filtering and the result is also displayed correctly. Unfortunately, however, the second selected category is removed in the selection box.

Think it is the 'disapearance' of the second selected category that is the problem

Unfortunately, this bug is still not fixed in the current release 4.0.35. I had also overlooked the fact that it is still open. 

I will try to fix it in the next release.
