Best way to organize downloads by category and user permissions?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using JDownloads on a Joomla website with a large number of files and categories. I would like to ask for some advice on the best way to organize downloads efficiently.

Specifically, I'm interested in:

Structuring categories and subcategories for better navigation

Managing user group permissions so different users can access different downloads

Any recommended settings or best practices to keep the download area clean and easy to maintain

If anyone has experience with similar setups or can point me to helpful documentation, I'd really appreciate it.
