Check Update Joomla 6.0.0 and compatibilities

I ran the check routine for an update to Joomla 6. Jdownloads, as well as various other extensions, warns of incompatibilities. The JCE editor is pretty much the only extension that's "ready".

Hi Ingo,
the current jDownloads version is not yet fully compatible with Joomla 6.
However, we hope to be able to release a new version in the coming week.

Basically you should wait some time for new Joomla versions. At least that's my experience.

That sounds good. These days, I always wait for the latest updates. I usually mirror the website to a subdomain and test it first. With over 120 GB of data, you can't just do an update. It's way too much work if it goes wrong.

By the way, Joomla 6 requires at least PHP 8.3...or 8.4 is better.
