Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'inquiry_hint'

Hi,
I try to update from jDownloads Version 4.0.30 Stable to the 4.0.45 an get this error:
JInstaller: :Install: SQL-Fehler Duplicate column name 'inquiry_hint'.

PHP-Version 8.1.30
Joomla 4.4.9

Any idea?

sounds as if the jD update had a challenge - this is very unusual.  However jD4.0.30 was released over a year ago
Did you make an Akeeba backup?
Suggest you try again - advise of result.  Maybe try to update to 4.0.35

thanks for your feedback.
Installing an older version e.g. 4.0.35 was also my idea. But I have not found any older versions to download. Where can I download them?

I have an Akeeba backup.

thanks for the link.
Here is my solution to the problem:

In the table "#__jdownloads_usergroups_limits" I had to delete the field 'inquiry_hint' and also the field "view_gdpr_dsgvo_option".
These two fields are used according to the "install.mysql.utf8.sql", but only after deleting these two fields could I successfully install the update.

Just for clarity I presume you just deleted the contents of field 'inquiry_hint' and also of field "view_gdpr_dsgvo_option" rather than deleting the actual columns.

no, I deleted the columns via the structure. Both columns contained no content.

I have checked the jD database items. Both inquiry_hint and view_gdpr_dsgvo_option are valid fields in the jD user-groups database entry for jD $ series but NOT for jD 3.9. So your actions were the correct course
Maybe there was an earlier attemp at an upgrade that did not complete but the database part had already been updated.
My suggestion is that if the update has failed then use an Akeeba backup to restore to the original.
