I installed jDownloads on a newly upgraded J4 site.  Ran the importer and it imported 30 categories and around 1500 files.  I can see them fine from the front end so no problems there.  However, when I try to go to the options for jDownloads I receive this error message:

An error has occurred.
0 Joomla\Filesystem\Folder::files: Path is not a folder. Path: [ROOT]/images/jdownloads/fileimages/flat_1/

If I go into cpanel and create that folder the error changes to

An error has occurred.
0 Joomla\Filesystem\Folder::files: Path is not a folder. Path: [ROOT]/images/jdownloads/fileimages/flat_2/

Hi,
could you solve the in the meantime?

And what do you mean by 'importer'?

It looks to me as if there were problems with the installation. Because of course the directories mentioned should be present after the installation.

So I think at some point in the past (this site goes all the way back to pre Joomla 1.x) I probably installed jDownloads in an attempt to migrate my docs off of the old DocMan extension.  Maybe there are things still in the database or file system from that old install that are causing problems.  jDownloads did not show up in my extensions menu or in the Manage screen in joomla though.

To clarify when I said import all I mean is that I had jDownloads scan the documents folder.

I think I have fixed this though.  I did a full uninstall of jDownloads including saying yes to removing files, etc. for all three options.  Then I reinstalled and now I can see the options.
