No download after valid Recaptcha v2 [SOLVED]

I have this same problem as this thread https://www.jdownloads.com/forum/index.php?topic=14172.0
i.e.
Downloading does not start after solving the captcha. A message is returned: "This site key is not enabled for the invisible captcha."
However I can't switch to V3 as I'm still on Joomla 4. I'm unable to upgrade to Joomla 5 due to a server problem. Any idea's on getting V2 working

Joomla 4 and 5 support the 'invisible' version (V3).  However jD4.0.38 and above only supports the invisible type.

Ahhh thats handy, maybe worth removing/amending the FAQ on "Using the V2 checkbox" thats directly below the article you linked to https://www.jdownloads.net/documentation since it states

Presently jDownloads v4.x supports Joomla! Captcha-Recaptcha type v2.
