Network Error with Chrome & Edge

Joomla version: 3.9.27
PHP version: 7.4
jDownloads version: 3.9.7.3

Every time I download something on Chrome or Edge (the latest versions of both) I get a network error saying that it couldn't download, but the file does download without an extension. The name of the file is the same as the hidden menu I've created, list-all-jdown.

If I add a .pdf to the downloaded file on my desktop, list-all-jdown, it opens up just fine. On FireFox v.89.0.2 it doesn't have this problem. So, any suggestions? Thanks.

if i search for that error i find a lot of hits that are suggesting it is a chromium problem:

Does it work from other computers in a chromium browser?

Thank you for the quick reply, Tazzios. Yeah, it's doing it on other PCs as well. I'm looking at the links you provided, too. What I'm wondering is if Chrome & Edge are doing the same thing on other sites, so I have to check. I'll post something once I'm done. Thanks again.
