News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hi, is it possible to add watermark to all images in file and download detail views and when frontend user downloads the file, it is not watermarked?

Hi
The basic answer is yes as the image that is shown in the front end is a preview which you can load up when you create/edit the Download.  The version of the image in the Download itself is in principle separate from the Downloadable file.
One would give the Download Public Access but Download Permission would be restricted to logged on users.
Haowever what I think you migght be asking is can jD automatically put on a Watermark with image previews.  The answer to that question is No.  But I will addit to the 3.9 suggestion list
