Making a page linkable but not on menu

Is there any way to have a link to a module or page but not on a menu item? so basically I want a person to be able to click a link in some content that goes to my site but something not published on a menu link. Thank you

Seems this post was missed.  You can use the Content plugin to have a Download info in an article with a link to the Download.  But you may be asking for a 'simple direct' link.  I will check out
