Create Multiple Downloads

Is there a way to create downloads that are associated with the files I upload without having to create them one at a time. I am uploading 100 files per category (back-end as super user) and would like to create a download for each file using the file name as the title. Is this possible?

The answer is Yes.  It is the auto monitoring function.  Go to Config - Monitoring tab.  Because handling a large number of files may cause a server timeout set Automonitoring to No.  Auto monitoring can be initiated from the jD Control panel.  So with <site root>/jdownloads as the base directory create the appropriate sub folders, and load the files to be downloaded into them.  Then go to jD Controml Panel and click on 'check download area'. Be patient whilst thejDownloads works  - suggest you do a short trial run with only a few files.
