I have done a full site backup, please give it another try and let me know if you have any 'time-out' problems, Like you suggested I was aware that not all files were being shown so any help or light on this issue is greatly appreciated.

The work is done.  

It was very much work to get it finally succesfully.

All data sets are correct imported and correct permission settings are defined.
The two menu items to jD are also corrected. A few things must you self check (links to jD content in joomla articles etc.).

Only the search results have all invalid URLs and goes to an article.  
Maybe a problem with the used sef options. I will check and fix this so fast i can.
When i shall deactivate until the fix the search icons, please give me a hint.

By the way, your problem was not really a bug. More a problem with your website and an incomplete import process.
