Bad values shown in <div class="jd_mp3_id3tag_value">

Hi
As you can see in the attachements I used the MP3tag Software to set values for an MP3 file.
As a result I get strange additional characters displayed on my homepage, see
http://www.agetrace.ch/migration/index.php/cd-2018-demos

<div class="jd_mp3_id3tag_name">Artist: </div>
<div class="jd_mp3_id3tag_value">ÿþThe AgeTrace</div>

The only tags which are OK are:- file name- year
I useJoomla! 3.9.1  jDownloads Version 3.2.63

Yes there does seem a problem.  Not sure but it might just be a difference between ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4 tags.  Think one isutf16 and the other is utf8 based. Will need to investigate .  Do you know what version your recordings use?Colin

Thank you for your quick response.
You will find alle information in the attached screenshots.I used Mp3tag v2.90a to tag the mp3 files on a Windows 10 Laptop.

I hope it will help you to identify the problem.

I downloaded a couple of your tracks and looked at the ID3 tags with the free  AudioShell
from https://www.softpointer.com/AudioShell.htmThat read all the tags correctly. 
Have also told Arno as he is the code 'guru'
May be a bit of a delay over the nect few days!! We are also working on the next major release of jD, jD3.9, - beta version expected in New Year,

Hallo Paul,
diese spezielle Zeichenfolge nennt man Byte order mark und  dient als Kennung zur Definition der Byte-Reihenfolge und Kodierungsform in UCS/Unicode-Zeichenketten, insbesondere Textdateien.

Ich vermute dass du in dem Programm mit dem du die Daten erzeugst hierfür eine andere Option für die Zeichenformatierung verwenden musst, falls sie denn existiert, oder eine andere Software versuchen solltest. Da dies aber aber nur am Rande mit jDownloads selbst zu tun hat, können wir hierzu auch keinen Support anbieten.

Hallo ArnoDanke für deinen Hinweis - Problem für mich soweit gelöst.Ihr habt eine super Antwortzeit - Respekt und herzlichen Dank.

Die Standard Schreib-Option war durch die Neu-Installation von Mp3tag v2.90a gesetzt auf ID3v2.3 UTF-16.siehe Screenshot 1.

1. Versuch: Ich habe die Option auf ID3v2.4 UTF-8 gesetzt (Bad Case Of Loving You)Die Text-Einträge werden nun korrekt angezeigt, aber der Eintrag in 'Jahr' ist leer2. Versuch: Ich habe die Option auf ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 gesetzt (Keep Your Hands To Yourself) und alle folgenden.
Die Text-Einträge inkl. der Eintrag in 'Jahr' werden korrekt angezeigt.
In beiden Fällen wird die Länge nicht korrekt angezeigt (0.77 bzw. 0.76 statt 0.46 min)  Settings und Resultat siehe Screenshots 2 und 3.
