jDownloads 4 Beta published!

We are proud to present a first official jDownloads beta version 4. 

As we have already carried out an extensive and successful test phase with a larger number of users over the last 10 weeks, we are now hoping for only a short official beta phase and a stable status soon. Our special thanks go to the many users who had signed up to participate in the extensive testing.

We know that many users are urgently waiting for the final stable release to be able to convert their current websites completely to Joomla 4. But we need at least this short official test phase before we can be start with a stable release.

What is still to do?

• The documentation for the new version is in progress and will be published or updated step by step.
• The translators will have to wait a little longer, as the new language files have not yet been uploaded to Transifex. We will make up for this in the next few days. But the new language definitions are not that extensive either.
