jDownloads 4 Beta can be tested now!

jdownloads logo bigWe are happy to offer interested jDownloads users a pre-beta 4 version for testing!

We know that many users are urgently waiting for the final release to be able to convert their current websites completely to Joomla 4. But we need at least a short test phase to find and fix critical bugs.

What is still to do?

  • We are currently trying to finish the last unfinished part (the support of the Joomla Multilanguage function) as soon as possible.
  • We hope that enough jDownloads users will help with their tests to eliminate any remaining bugs so that we can release a stable version as soon as possible.
  • New documentation for the coming version is in progress (by Colin Mercer) and will be published soon.
  • Translators must still wait a little bit. But the new language parts are only very small.
