Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Guten Tag!

Wir benutzen für unser Portal seit geraumer Zeit die 1.9.2 beta Version, möchten jedoch auf die aktuelle Version 3.2.51 wechseln.

Diese läuft unter der GPL V3 Lizenz.
Dürfen wir das Produkt kostenfrei benutzen oder ändert sich damit etwas??

Yes jDownloads is free to use.  When upgrading you might find articles in link below helpful

If you have a large number of Downloads then there maybe a server timeout problem.  Some users have found it useful to convert on a local PC using XAMPP for example with a copy of your website as you can set unlimited timeout time.
