High,

sorry, my English is not so good....

When I download a file with an external link, the hits twofold increase.
A link or example:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/XXXXX/Dienstplan%202016-12-26.pdf?dl=1

Can you help me?

Kind regards!

Hi
Are you saying that every time someone someone downloads from Dropbox that the count of downloads for that Download increases by 2 rather than by 1?

Hi,

look here:
http://tauber-leipzig.de/gewandhausorchester/category/7-cd-dvd-kataloge.html

When I click on the Download-Button I can see the PDF in the browser.
When I go back and refresh the side, the {hits_value} = +2.

My Joomla = 3.6.5
My jDownloads = 3.2.46

When I make a right-click and "save target in" the {hits_value} = +1.
This is okay.

Kind regards!

Hi
Can you tell us which browser you are using?  When I use Firefox it increases by 1 but if I use Edge it increases by 2.  Chrome gave same result as Firefox.

Hi,

Yes, the same here:

Windows 10 + Internet Explorer: +1
Windows 10 + Edge: +2
iPhone with iOS 10.2 + Safari: +1

Thanks Arno for this Video.

Regards!
Tom

So it seems to be only a Edge and not a jDownloads problem.

I take the very same.

Ja Arno, es scheint wirklich an Edge zu liegen.
Muss man erst einmal drauf kommen...

Danke Euch für die Antworten und stressarme Weihnachtsfeiertage!
