After upload and install jdownloads I get a error: 1054 - Unknown column 'use_timeframe' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT file_id from zpfmq_jdownloads_files WHERE published = 1 AND use_timeframe = 1 AND publish_to != '0000-00-00 00:00:00' AND publish_to <= '2014-11-24 12:21:18'

Hi
Just for clarity when you say administrator does not work anymore do you mean the the jDownloads admin does not work or that Joomla admin does not work. Please advise which one is the problem.

If it is Joomla admin then looks like you need to restore entire site from latest backup, but Arno might know a better way :).

If it is jDownloads admin then could you please say if it was a completely new install of jDownloads, or an update from an earlier version of jDownloads?

If it was an update what was the previous version of jDownloads as best you remember.

Does your site run with cPanel and do you have access to phpMyAdmin?

Please tell us the details above so we are in a better position to help.

I got the same problem.

I was trying to update from 1.9.2.11 to 3.2.17, done all steps from http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/how-to-upgrade-jdownloads-component-from-1-9-x-to-latest-3-x-version?category_id=40

Now if i try to enter jDownload Control Panel i just get an error message
1054 Unknown column 'group_id' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT * FROM jme_jdownloads_usergroups_limits WHERE group_id IN (1,1,2,3)

(later edit)
I also try to set jDownloads User Group Settings (maybe thats the problem) but I cant get there
1054 Unknown column 'group_id' in 'field list' SQL=SELECT group_id, importance FROM jme_jdownloads_usergroups_limits ORDER BY group_id

Menu that seems to work: Categories (empty for now), Downloads (empty for now), Files (empty for now), Configuration, Layouts, Logs, Tools.

Any solutions? I really need that section up and running again. Thanks!

(I'm using Joomla 3.3.6, tried to reverse back to J 1.9.2.11 via backup but that also failed at one point)

Hi,
for me seems it as when both jD installations are not complete?

@PCMHZ:
- activate at first the 'debug' option in the Joomla global configuration
- try it then again and post here the error messages
- deactivate then all jDownloads plugins (also the system plugin) and all jDownloads modules
- try it then again
- please check via phpmyadmin the structure from the table:  jme_jdownloads_usergroups_limits. Here must exist a column 'group_id'.

Post here your results.

hm.. what mean you with 'upload and install'? Normally is this bundled in a single process. Please use not the option to install from a folder on the server.  ::)
