Image uploading failing in 3.2.14

I am trying to upload images in 3.2.14 but when i select the file it shows "c:\fakepath\myfile.png" and they do not appear after clicking the "save" button at the menu area. Any ideas?

It seems that nobody else has this problem.
Can it be that the images folders are not writable? Get you any error message?
Which form use you (frontend or backend)?

I have no problems to assign images to a download. See pic.

Interesting. Was that on the back end? The backend is where i was having trouble. I didnt see that at all...

Yes, it is a test on the backend.
Maybe have you selected a not valide image file type?  
Please test it again with other images.

you must click on the save symbol in the toolbar. First after this are the files uploaded.

I can not understand this.

Which browser use you to assign the images? How you can see on the screenshot, when i select a file is only the filename displayed but not any drive or path information.

Im using safari on my mac and ipad...
