News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Peter,
This could be all sorts of things!  Is it a fresh install of Joomla?  Or is it a new install of jDownloads?  Any details would be helpful.  What was last thing you recall doing?  Do you have a backup?

In order to see if we can help we would need admin access to your site.  If that is OK then please send Private message with login details at admin level.

Hello ColinM

I'm very grateful for your reply.

I arranged for a Joomla guru from Quang Trung Software Park, which is located close to my school HCMC, to spend some time with us this afternoon. Whatever the problem was, he managed to sort it out. My website guys are happy, I'm happy and the Joomla guru is also happy because we made a bit of extra cash.

Again, thank you for your reply.

I will visit this blog periodically to keep up to date with Joomla.

Kind regards

Peter
