When batch moving categories the hierarchy is messed up. All sub cats are placed flat in the parent folder.

Hi Carin,
it is not easy for me... perhaps should you give a little more informations about your exactly moving operations or the categories structure.

I have now tried a few move batch operations but all works fine in the moment here.
See the screenshots before and after the moving.

Maybe have has this problem to do with configuration settings?  ::)
Or maybe with batch copy operations which was not correct done?

By the way, i have after every batch started the auto monitoring in control panel to check the result.
Will test here more...

my setup is 2 root cats with 4 levels of sub cats each

when I move a level 3 cat to another level 2 cat, all the level 4 cats of that level 3 cat are placed flat (now as level 3 cats next to their former parent cat) into the new level 2 cat, so the parent-child relation is lost

does that help?

I hope, that it is now fixed in the next beta version. I have many hours tested it with many combinations.
