Error changing directory

Hi,

I set the jD main directory to /jdownloads and assigned 0755 permissions, but when I activate protection, I get this error:
"Copy failed: [ROOT]/administrator/components/com_jdownloads/htaccess.txt to /jdownloads/.htaccess."
