I have created a utility that scans your download log daily and emails you results sorted by the number of times the file has been downloaded. This way you still see activity but don't get flooded with download notices from using the jdownloads notifications. I have servers with over several thousand downloads every day each so this tool is a godsend...

I would like to get feedback on it so if you are running Joomla & jdownloads on Linux ad want to give it a try go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/daily-downloads/ and download it. Please let me know your evaluation! Once you download it and extract it you can update to the latest version using the "git pull" command in the shell.
