My site is multilingual and I only have to show the correct downloads! Before the JM 3.10.2 update everything was working fine
Regarding the layouts, I don't understand what has changed and how do you assign a layout to folders anyway?

We are assigning a layout to categories which have more info than just a the name of the folder.
Just for info the layouts are set in the layout section Categories, Subcategories and Category.
