News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hey there,

I just upgraded my jdownloads component from v.3.2.69 to 3.9.6 stable.
I upgraded like recommended. Everything went like discribed and I got a positive feedback.

Unfortunately the download-links on my homepage do not work anymore. I get the following error message: check appended Screenshot!

I don´t have a clue what to do to solve the problem??? I´m lost! :-[ :'(

I would be really gratefool for a prompt feedback!

Could the use of MariaDB 10.4 be the reason for my problem???

Hi
Maria 10.4 is OK.  To uderstand further I would need to look at your backend.
I will send you a PM (Private Message)
Have you checked the documentation for various other components  -
ses https://www.jdownloads.net/documentation-for-v3-9/getting-started-v3-9/upgrading-from-jdownloads-3-2-to-3-9#third-party-extensions
Since we recognised the db level requirement, most of the problems have been down to incompatibilies between extensions.

Best wishes
Colin

Hallo,

Arno
