menu problem

I've tried to create a menu item linking to jdownloads, and I end up with 'The website encountered an error while retrieving . It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly..' (Chrome) and a blank page in Firefox.

Could you be  a bit more specific please.
I guess you are not very familiar with using Joomla!.

As a start point just create a menu item using the jD List All Categories.Please also see the documentationhttp://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/category/menu-items
