Backslash in Beschreibung

Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass alle Backslashes "\" die ich in einer Beschreibung der Downloads eingebe, sofort nach dem Speichern wieder weg sind.
An allen anderen Stellen wie Beiträgen ist dies aber problemlos möglich. Woran kann das liegen?

The backslash character is used as an escape character so if you want to see a single backslash \ in jD description then type two backslashes \\
This forum just uses simple text so \ appears where it is typed

It depends on which editor you are using.Some examples are

   
• \\ backslash.
• \n new line.
• \r carriage return.
• \t tab.
• \b backspace.
• \f form feed.
