Default Sort Option for Each Category

Would be nice to set a default sort option per category.  Some of my sub categories are listed in years and some subcategories are listed by words.  Allowing for different default sort options by category would allow me to sort those containing years by Descending or Ascending, those by words could be alphabetical.

Hi,
yes this could be useful in your special case. But it is not really important for all users and we can not add for every user special functions. Sorry, but here is nothing planned.
