News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hi
Do you mean the address bar in your browser?  That is nothing to do with jDownloads but is part of the setup of the users browser.

May I ask why you want to hide the address bar anyway?

I know that you can create windows without this. Maybe when you open a modal window. In my case i want to delete this when the pdf document is open because i don´t want than see the url:

http://www.mydomain.es/web/index.php/component/jdownloads/send/98-pdffile

I don't want they see this url.

Another thing, when the access is denied and they try to access to a url(maybe because they stored it in the favorite menus), they don´t see the login window.

Hi
Not sure one can download into a modal window!  Will look into it.

On your second point
Quotewhen the access is denied and they try to access to a url(maybe because they stored it in the favorite menus), they don´t see the login window
this is a 404 error and it depends how your site handles such errors.  It can be through a Joomla! error page, by your .htaccess or as in my case by my web site server.  It is not a jDownloads function.

But maybe I should write an article on what to do!
