category order does not accept values order fields

reproduce:
* back end: go to categories
* type different numbers in some fields of the column "Ordering"
* hit the save button next to "Ordering"

expected:
* the new Ordering is displayed

current:

* nothing changes, same order as before

this might be connected with http://www.jdownloads.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=150

EDIT: under some not reproducable cirumstances this ordering does work, probably the ordering cannot handle displaying 1000+ categories
