Download links not working correctly after adding a new resource page

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with a download section on my website and was hoping someone here might have some insight. Recently I added a resource page related to delta emaultor and linked it through my downloads area, but since then I've noticed some unexpected behavior.

A few visitors have reported that download tracking is inconsistent, and in some cases the resource page opens correctly while the download counter doesn't update. I've also seen occasional issues with redirects and I'm not sure whether it's related to jDownloads configuration, caching, or URL handling.

What's making troubleshooting difficult is that the problem doesn't happen every time. Sometimes everything works normally, and other times users report broken download statistics or incomplete page loads. I'm curious if anyone has experienced something similar when linking external resources through jDownloads.

Could this be related to permissions, plugin conflicts, or SEO-friendly URL settings? I'd appreciate any suggestions on where to start looking.

As far as I am aware jD does not support 'delta emulator'.  The Download Area is just that - it is where Downloads are located but not an active code item.
Just for reference which versions of Joomla and jD are you using?
