monitoring manually in the control panel

Hi, in documentation http://www.jdownloads.net/documentation-v3-2/general-items/using-the-auto-monitoring-function, show column "check directory" for monitoring manually of directories.
we install Joomla 3.x and jdownloads v3.2., but we not know how enable this option (column "check directory"), in pic attached show ítem "categories" in own backend site.

How can I enable column "check directory" (same in documentation http://www.jdownloads.net/documentation-v3-2/general-items/using-the-auto-monitoring-function?

excuse us but this option is (since some versions) not more included.
We work currently on all documentation parts and will then correct this part.

Have updated article.  Apologies for not noticing earlier
If you do have many categories and Downloads it is advisable to do say 500 a time.  You could also perhaps ask your web site provider if they could temporarily increase your execution time
