Zip file issues

Hello Arno,

thanks for this great piece of software!

I have a problem generating a zip-file, all I get is the followin message: "Fehler! Es war leider nicht möglich die temporäre Zip-Datei für die angeforderten Downloads zu erstellen. Bitte informieren Sie den Betreiber der Webseite darüber."

The temp-folder ist writable (755) and empty.

What can I do to get it work?

Please check in jD Config - Downloads tab - field 'Temporay Directory Name'
This should show it is writable -the directory name is usually <your site>/jdownloads/_tempzipfiles/
The other thing to do is contact your hosting service to ensure you have the zip options set in yor php settings.Actually you could check in Joomla System - System Settings- PHP  You should find both Zlib Enabled and Native Zip
