Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hi,

I did a backup (with Akeeba) from my joomla page and database and transferred everything to a different folder on the server.
Everything went smoothly. Site is up an running but somehow the Download Button stopped working. If I hover over the button I can see the correct link (Example: domain.de/List all categories menu item/send/catid-alias/fileid-alias), but a click throws me back to the "List all categories" view. Immediate help is really appreciated.

Thanks
Lena

I'm running Joomla 3.6.3, PHP 7 and JDownloads 3.2.46

P.S. Colin, your super user access should still work

Ok.... nevermind... why do you always find the solution AFTER you write about it?!?
I changed download folder in the jdownloads configuration.... that was way to simple  ;)

Hi Lena,
when you use an akeeba backup and install it on another place you must always correct the path to the upload folder.
Akeeba can this not does.  ;)
