I discovered sort of a bug.
When a user tries to right click and save as on a download (which they shouldn't do) they get an error message. But after they did that and try to download the file by just left clicking the ''Download'' link like they should, the link doesn't work anymore and a error page with ''The page isn't redirecting properly'' shows up. Then the download is broken. How can I let this not happen anymore?

EDIT: I can then fix the download again by logging in on my admin account, then download the file on that account the way it should. Then I can login as a normal user and the download works...

Hmm seems I fixed it already, I changed some global permission settings for Download on Registered users to Allowed, instead of Inherited.
Weird, but ok it works.

Yes Joomla! permissions sometimes confusing.  Incidentally do you have a List All Categories type menu item, even if it is hidden, as the absence may cause bad links in some circumstances that asa yet are not clear.,

I got the same issue. I did what Dylan do by logging in as Admin, then it worked just fine. Thanks man.
