Joomla pre-update notice

Hello,
I am updating an old website and have reached version 4.1.14.
I have updated Jdownloads to version 4.0.49.
In the pre-update warnings for Joomla to version 5.4.2, there is an alert that says that the System - jDownloads plugin can cause potentially serious problems.
Currently, the installed version of this plugin is 4.0.43.
Of course, I will back up everything before updating, but out of curiosity, I wanted to know what you think about this warning.
