jDownloads 4.0: Limit downloads per user group within 24 hours?

I'm using jDownloads 4.0 on Joomla 4, and I'd like to set different download limits per user group (for example: Guests, max 3 downloads per 24 hours; Registered users, 10 downloads per 24 hours; VIP, unlimited). I've checked the global settings and permissions, but I couldn't find an option to apply limits by user group with a time-based period, such as 24 hours. Does jDownloads currently support this natively, or is a plugin or custom solution required to achieve this?

Hi,
Yes this is available but not for Public or Guest users as they cannot be identifiued. In The Components - jDownloads select User Group Limits. Then select the UserGroup.  Select the Limits tab where you can select Daily, Weekly and monthly limits.  You may also set a daily and weekly Megabyte limit.
